Shaft Construction

Euro Iseki Overseas ( Thailand ) Ltd introduced to the Bangkok Wastewater Project Stage I the design and utilisation of precast concrete caisson unites for rapid shaft construction. Designs were carried out for sizes from 1.8m diameter upto 6.5m by 3.8m.

The Company has gone on to use these caissons for shaft construction in numerous areas of Bangkok. They provide a safe and extremely fast method of providing thrust and reception shafts for pipejacking and microtunnelling operations.

In addition to precast concrete caissons Euro Iseki Overseas ( Thailand ) Ltd are experienced in all other forms of shaft construction. Euro Iseki Overseas ( Thailand ) Ltd has utilised experienced expatriate personnel to train the local Thai workforce in all construction techniques with great success.

Upon completion of shaft construction and the installation of pipes between them the shafts are converted to finished man access points the detail of which depends upon the ultimate use.
